This 2013 OMAX 5555 is a compact precision abrasive waterjet with a 55″ x 55″ cutting envelope on a 65″ x 80″ table. It is listed in very good condition with approximately 8,800 hours.
Motion is handled by closed-loop digital drives with brushless AC servo motors, pre-loaded ball screws and hardened, ground ways, with round bellows fully enclosing each axis. The PC-based control runs OMAX’s integrated CAD/CAM software, which imports over 40 file formats and includes a full material library, six cut qualities, array nesting, automatic tool path generation, and Intelli-Trace dynamic pierce and corner functions.
Pressure comes from an OMAX 5060 50 HP EnduroMax pump with variable frequency drive, which allows high/low pressure piercing for soft and brittle materials and uses less electricity and water than an intensifier pump.
