Clarke & Lewis UTB CL-TCB-200 Tube Coiling Machine

The Clarke & Lewis CL-TCB-200, item number UTB CL-TCB-200, is a heavy-duty coiling machine that wraps tube around a coiling die to form continuous, multi-turn coils. It is built for copper coils up to 3″ diameter, with an overarm tie that keeps the spindle rigid on large coils.

How it works. A hydraulically actuated pressure die holds the tube against the coiling die, with die pressure set and displayed at the console. System pressure is also adjustable and displayed. The operator enters the total degrees of rotation, for example 720° for a two-turn coil, and sets a slow-down point so the variable-speed spindle eases into the final angle. A jog control moves the spindle for setup and testing, and a CW-CCW switch reverses rotation so the finished coil can be unwound from the die.

Where it fits. Preset rotation keeps repeat coils consistent from part to part, and the overarm tie handles large, heavy coils. It’s great for:
