Clarke & Lewis CL-200EB – Hydraulic Extrusion Bender

The Clarke & Lewis CL-200EB, item number UTB CL-200EB, is a hydraulic rotary draw bender built for bending extruded profiles as well as tube. Split dies, a vertical hydraulic die closer and a gripper retarder handle open profiles with horizontal legs, while a hydraulic mandrel extractor supports closed sections. Standard length over mandrel is 10 ft, with longer lengths available.

How it works. The vertically operated hydraulic die closer clamps the split dies automatically in the bend cycle. A digital bend control stores up to 40 bend angles, so multi-bend parts run without resetting. Manual degree-of-bend stops under the machine nose include a springback compensation dial for fine adjustment. On long horizontal-leg extrusions, the gripper retarder controls the material through the bend, and an adjustable stop table with a pneumatic foot switch locates parts for repeat bends. Pressure-sensitive safety mats guard the area under the swing arm and around the safety post.
