Clarke & Lewis UTB CL-3SD – End Finishing Machine (Square, Deburr, Bead, Flare)

The Clarke & Lewis CL-3SD, item number UTB CL-3SD, is a benchtop tube end finishing machine that handles four operations: squaring, deburring, beading and flaring. It works non-ferrous and annealed ferrous tube from 1/8″ to 3″ OD, flaring walls up to .125″.

How it works. Heat-treated alloy steel jaws close on 80 to 120 psi shop air and hold the tube while the spindle-mounted tool works the end. Spindle speed is variable from 0 to 500 rpm, so it can be matched to the tube size, material and operation. The standard machine runs on 230 VAC single-phase, with 230/460 V single- or three-phase available. A cabinet stand, velocity damper and automatic foot switch are optional.

Where it fits. One machine covers the end prep most tube assemblies need, from a clean square cut to a finished flare or bead. It’s great for:
