This is a used hydraulic bend cylinder for the Pines #4 tube bender, with an 8-inch bore and a 29-inch stroke. The bend cylinder supplies the force that rotates the bend arm through each bend. When it wears, bend-to-bend consistency suffers and the machine may lose power under load. Replacing a leaking or scored cylinder with a matching unit is often the quickest way to get a #4 back into production.
