This 2014 Peddinghaus HSFDB-2500/B is a CNC plate processing system for structural steel fabrication. It combines high-speed drilling, milling, tapping, countersinking, plasma cutting and oxy-fuel cutting of heavy plate in one machine, with automated material handling across a 96″ x 480″ envelope. It is listed in very good condition.
The 48 HP CAT 50 spindle runs to 2,250 RPM and drills plate from 0.25″ to 3″. Plasma cutting is handled by a Hypertherm HPR400XD, rated from 0.25″ to 2-1/2″, with an oxy-fuel system for heavier sections. A SignoScript carbide scribing system marks parts.
Note: the machine’s 8-station tool changer has been removed. Tooling must be loaded manually.
