The Alpine LS150-4 tube laser is a 4-axis fiber laser tube cutting machine for tube from 20 to 150 mm (0.79″ to 5.91″) OD, in round, square, rectangular, elliptical, and flat-oval profiles. It’s available with a 1,000W, 1,500W, or 2,000W fiber laser.
The self-calibrating laser head runs on servo-driven axes at up to 500 mm/s. A patented, servo-rotated front chuck clamps pneumatically and fits multiple tube profiles. The servo carriage feeds at up to 777 mm/s over 6,700 mm of travel and carries a patented rear chuck, which brings minimum end waste down to 45 mm (1.77″).
The tube loader supports job scheduling and handles mixed shapes and sizes. A customizable unloader takes finished parts across a range of profiles and diameters. A pneumatic safety barrier guards the cutting area and still allows easy maintenance access. Positioning repeatability is ±0.03 mm (±0.0012″).
